A bad idea: conta.cc/3UFclvY ‘NHS tell us that we need more doctors in primary care but some are not being employed because it is cheaper to replace them with PA’s. ‘ An amazingly bonkers policy which the general public has not yet grasped. All down to money not quality

@lithohlr First woman consultant urologist in East Midlands. Outstanding endourologist with pcnl in children . Great teacher and mentor to many including fellow consultants. Always wearing a smile and checking all is well with others . Difficult act to follow .

@ClareGerada @NHSPracHealth It is absolutely essential that @NHSPracHealth continue to offer help to secondary care doctors with significant mental health problems. In 2023 over 50% trainees in NFS had moderate levels of stress and 10% had high levels. Over 50# consultants at some stage ditto !
