If miners all have the same bug/issue, while it’s not great because you have a broken opcode now part of consensus rules nothing besides the actual apps built off the opcode immediately suffer.

Since DogeOS is an EVM, presumably anything people use Ethereum for they could use DogeOS for. I’m not sure DogeOS will be making tons of money from platform fees. Especially with plans to decentralize. The people making profits right away will be those building on the platform, decentralized exchanges, stable coin providers, or yes, even anoncoin.

@OneGoodShibe @iMmr_D @MyDogeCTO I don’t think ERC-20 tokens are that much different from a technical standpoint, lots of scams with those but there are some who like them. That said, the devs who originally made the EVM shouldn’t be at fault for how people use it. The EVM itself is still useful.

Yes anyone can create one, in just a few clicks for a pretty small cost. There are some nsfw/illegal content filters at the very least. Honestly just play with the app a bit and you get a good idea of the ecosystem, either anoncoin or pumpfun. Lots of scams/rugs obviously but welcome to the internet.

@wholemars They almost certainly did have to. Complying with export controls like this requires stupid levels of confirmation. Try downloading a firearm model on DefCAD and you’ll get an idea.
