Painkiller-style tech products have an interesting issue to deal with during testing/onboarding: If the user isn't currently experiencing pain, the product may not seem useful.

I've been quiet lately, but I'm still here plugging away on @writingai. We ran some user tests a few weeks ago and found some things to improve. We're iterating, then running more tests. Startups are hard, and building new tech is even harder, but we're in it for the long haul.

Useful #design insight I've learned from working on @WritingAI: It's *much* easier for someone without much graphic design ability to make a site look professional with a white theme than one with a more colorful theme.
