@BobGunzy Sorry that sucks. So when you say growing point is inside does that mean you are basically starting over at V1 again and it adds 2-3 weeks onto maturity or it picks up closer to where it got wrecked and it only lost a week. Us northern guys pushing RMs can’t afford an xtra 2 week

@Notill20Wessel Should be building awesome root system. All models I’ve seen show pretty much entire belt getting something next couple days. How much white combine and wind are with it depends on the model and location. Hopefully you get the wet and not frozen

@Srm67 @FreschlyJon No offense, but you’ve never heard that before? Saturated soils equals wet feet. Doesn’t have to have water sitting on surface, just heavy ground in areas with lots of rain like IL. Corn salesmen will usually try and steer you away from or into certain hybrids for wet feet.

@FarmerTheta 1/4? Not sure what values are right now out there a few hours, but around here would’ve been similar in early 1900s according to my abstracts but now we are pushing 10 on not square and flat and 12-13 on flat and square so would be close to 2 million on flat and square

@BradyD78 @Grainmarket67 Did the western edge of the belt actually get the corn planted and emerged now that you are getting rain or is it now try and get the corn planted when it’s fit? USDA exports are short 200 million on 25/26 corn so sub 2 carryout. Take another 200 off of new crop and getting tight
