Crypto + Macro Stuff I'm Looking At Today ... - Max carnage, $QQQ down 4.8% today, $BTC down 23.8% in last month - We seem to have entered some entirely new layer of goblintown that nobody knew even existed previously, is like some ancient Mordorian pit where the very essence of orcs and goblinism manifests sulfureously - Crypto market closer to 2022 low of $0.88T today than to 2025 high of $4.38T - $ETH could be flipped by $USDT at any moment as 2nd largest crypto asset - market caps are now at $194B and $187B respectively - $ZEC falls 50% in a day due to vulnerability disclosure thing - Many blaming crypto market woes on Saylor's selling but lots of other variables too to be fair - Stock sell-off today seems more idiosyncratic (all the weird flow stuff and options build up and random auto-buying and auto-selling and etc as tradfi markets become more algorithmic and more sensitive to the 'dumb giant robot' of passive indices 401k buying, to channel Mike Green) - Bond yields blowing out again and all eyes on Warsh and what the Fed will do with interest rates (I still think they are more likely to be super dovish personally) - PumpFun launches a new 'bounty marketplace' called Pump Fun Go (I haven't geeked out on this but I think these newer online-commerce platforms like Whop have a lot of growth potential so if its something similar to that I'd consider it bullish) - Lots of tokenless perps dex's still attracting airdrop enthusiasts (Variational, Ostium, Extended, etc) - Still seeing chatter about bulktrade in airdrop-land too - Also seeing more and more mentions of Canton and is one of the better performing chains on DefiLlama lately - Interesting stat that Twitter/X revenue is still down substantially vs 2021/2022 era (35% lower in 2025 vs 2021 for instance), h/t punk9059 - Coinbase and Ethena announced a new partnership - A new interest rate trading platform called ExponentFinance went live on Solana - Stripe, Visa, and Mastercard are apparently backing a new stablecoin platform or something along those lines - Tokenized TCG, Gacha, etc meta continues to pick up steam - Stablecoin dominance currently at 13%, the highest level since early 2023 (h/t krugman87) Conclusion Don't give up my brothers! Nothing worth doing in life is easy... And honestly even if you have become 100% cynical on crypto and lost your idealism, do you really want to let these filthy boomers defeat us? Do you really want Elizabeth Warren and all the rest of her ilk to achieve victory? Cannot think of anything more horrifying, quite frankly... Keep persevering and we will eventually get our vengeance 💪

Crypto + Macro Stuff I'm Looking At Today ... - Total crypto market cap at $2.595T (previous ATH was $4.38T last October) - Stonks at ATH's - Taiwanese and South Korean stock markets especially surging - Interesting fact, Taiwan's stock market is now just under $5T, or almost double the size of crypto in its entirety - Iran and US have apparently drafted a 'Memorandum Of Understanding' - Gold at $4,445.50 - Oil at $89.75 - Next FOMC Meeting (Warsh's first chance to cut rates) is coming June 17th - Privacy narrative hot right now with coins like $ZEC and $VVV outperforming - Also $SUI says they will apparently launch private transactions soon - Variational and other tokenless perps dex's are still dominating airdrop discourse - PCE Inflation data and US Q1 GDP data both come out tomorrow - Crypto Fear & Greed Index falls to 25 - A number of Asian countries are apparently blocking access to Polymarket due to gambling regulations - Fastest-growing protocols on the weekly with at least $10M TVL (as per DefiLlama) are: Rain, Maya Protocol, EGAS Swap, Railgun, and LINEAR Protocol - Fastest-growing chains on the weekly with at least $10M TVL are: Strato, Citrea, Fluent, Near, and Stable - Top 10 crypto entities by 7 day fee generation are: Tether, Circle, Uniswap, Pump, Hyperliquid, Canton, Polymarket, Lido, Aave, and Tron Conclusion Keep putting in the reps lads :) Crypto is clearly the most out of favor asset that exists at the moment. I keep hearing people talk about "day-trading" stocks... keep hearing about Pokemon cards and TCG's generally... But absolutely nothing about crypto :) This is good though - you want to build positions in stuff that is out of favor. Total crypto market cap is also absolutely tiny at this point - it will not take much in the way of inflows to pump it way higher. Right now the out of favor assets are real estate and crypto, and the in-favor ones are stocks, gold (though seems to be cooling down), and collectibles. Think stocks will keep going higher, but I think both real estate (at least residential real estate in the US that is) and crypto are getting ready to shine again soon. Crypto + Macro Stuff I'm Looking At Today ... - $QQQ just relentless... thought 10 year spiking would push it down but just keeps going higher - Final draft of an Iran deal has apparently been reached - Oil has fallen to $96 (still have my short open) - $HYPE absolutely killing it, up 132% on the year - Warsh sworn in today, faces the highest 10 year yields of any Fed chair since Alan Greenspan in 1987 (which is quite bullish to my mind as it means rates have a long way to come down) - MegaETH shuts down Terminal program - PumpFun introduces USDC pairs - SpaceX files for its IPO - Trump admin investing $2B in quantum computing companies - Aave proposal to expand to Monad - Max bearishness around Ethereum on the TL (could be bottom signal imho) - Polymarket launches pre-IPO markets - Three more crypto projects shut down this week: syndicatedotio, EverclearOrg, and zerodotnetwork - Oh and also FantasyTop - to much debate and contention - Variational raised $50M in funding, catalyzing further excitement about their prospective airdrop from users - Still seeing interesting in Nado/Ink in airdrop circles too - Also prjx_hl airdrop today apparently - And Solstice postponed its TGE to May 25th Conclusion That is everything lads!
