Pretty damn good day. My best round ever from the tips. Driver and irons on point most of the day except for 3 or 4 shots. Lag putting was spectacular Missed 3 birdie putts inside 10 feet but made 3 pars and a huge bogey putt between 4-6 feet. Absolute grind out there.

@MMGOLFSTUDIOS Yes. There are 27,154 gallons of water per 1 inch of rain per acre So every 1 inch of rain drops nearly 1 billion gallons of water in the city I live in. About 28 billion gallons annually Mind boggling numbers.

@MidwestGolfJake @Cade4ISU The fairway is like 40 yards wide and it’s about 70-80 yards wide from tree line to tree line. It’s an extremely difficult hole! I have doubled it more than made par in my life 😂

@Cade4ISU Good decision. I have scored well from back there but have also had my teeth kicked in 😂 Let me know how hole 12 goes for you from those tees. It should be down wind for you today if I remember right which will help
@Cade4ISU All good. I wouldn’t have been able to make it anyway. A little advice: take advantage of the front because the back 9 has some tricky holes. It’s very gettable if you are hitting it good

@ryanmouquegolf Yes. I am aware they are missable. I have missed plenty of them in my life. I’m not saying that the putt should be given. I am saying that the person shouldn’t mark the ball. Walk up and tap it in. Personally, I find I make more of these the LESS I think about them.
Too many people overthink these situations. Don’t even mark the ball. Walk up and tap it in without thinking at all. Just like you would with a bogey or double bogey putt This putt is no different than those. You have probably made 1000 of these putts.
Are you making your playing partner putt out or is this a gimmie in this situation 🧐 ⛳️
@DevonDembinski @MidwestGolfJake @mawarren34 I saw this happen to a guy on Thursday. Ball ping ponged off the tree 3 or 4 times then stuck between two branches One of the craziest things I have seen on a golf course
@timmmess Oh it’s fine. I was just pointing out that golf is hard. You can play great one day and mediocre the next And it’s not because you are bad, it’s because the margin for error is so small
There is an incredibly thin line between your best golf and below average golf. A few more missed GIR combined with not getting up down and speed control on putts being subpar Didn’t lose a ball all day even with striking ball worse today so that’s a positive takeaway
