Jess, sorry to disappoint but Somalians living in London isn’t the reason we have the current Social Housing crisis we are faced with. It’s the fact consecutive governments failed to invest in council house building which coincided with them selling off the little council housing stock we did have over the last 30 years. There are 1.3 million people waiting for social housing including 151,000 homeless kids, despite this fact, last year government only built 700 new social homes and year on year we are knocking down and selling off more homes than we are building. That’s where your anger should be directed, not Somalian’s or any other minority group needing a roof over their head for that matter.
