I’ve also been reading about growth mindset for post grad course & this has been the shift, I think: reframing unexpected events as opportunities, leaning into personal strengths like genuine communication & accessing supportive resources facilitated intentional work to continue

I’ve been reading about intentionality & thinking about how closely it aligns with occupational therapy in terms of goal-setting & aligned actions. I also think we need OT to support adapting intentionality depending on circle of control/enviro & health/performance for wellbeing

Motivation for this reading comes from a personal space of having to adapt a lot this year due to disability. I work well in planned goal alignment. When the challenge increased, I had to think creatively to continue to work intentionally. Different OT skills supported wellbeing

Thank you to everyone who attended the first @WeAreLSCFT Learning Disability and Autism in Mental Health conference today. I was completely blown away by over a hundred staff attending and all showing such passion to improve the lives of our service users, carers and staff ❤️
