I realise I’ve been very quiet here and mainly that’s down to large amount of acceptance but also social media isn’t as useful as we think. I’m openly @cleatsandcode
I’ve been busy!
Guitar resto update. It’s all back together. Hardly any new parts so very little recycling or landfill. Plays really well and sounds quite bright with light strings (it’s going to a learner). Have to give it a few days to settle and then faff with the neck and intonation.
ADHD is selective hearing but you don’t get to do the selecting.

When I was 12 years old I was a frequent A&E visitor, It was either broken bones, cuts that needed stitches or just bad sprains etc.. when I was diagnosed with ADHD the Dr said that my injury history can be related to my undiagnosed ADHD.. why?

Huh so I realise when I’m doing some very sketchy stuff I go non-verbal. Like mouth moves; vocal chords do nothing. Which kinda works when you jump a few flights of stairs.

#askadhd does anyone get a cycle of positive then super low mood and anxiety irrespective of situation/meds/sleep? The darkness of winter is making everything 100x worse atm. Hoping tomorrow is the reset but am I on my own with this?

@Theholisticpsyc I find your threads fascinating. However I find myself drifting to mastodon as it is at the moment, so much nicer for pace and not doomscrolling. Do you by any chance have any plans to post on both in the future? (Sorry if it’s likely been already asked!)
I feel this is a ploy instead of making a scalable web app. Context extended into this account but this feels shady AF exploitation
Question for #ux #ui folk. Virtual queues on e-commerce (like boots). Is this a ploy to add a time pressure to increase impulse purchase? As a dev I’d just work out a way to make sure the website holds up as it should without I inconveniencing users. #ecommerce
