My opinion: the desktop app tries to be Chat, Cowork, and Code in one UI... and suffers for it. Each serves a different user. Code especially needs a light IDE shell (folder access, file tree). Without it, it’s not really usable for devs. Break them apart, design for each audience.
This is really close to something I built for journaling. It's called Quantum Reality Shift, you talk through your morning plan and evening brain dump in Cowork and it turns everything into structured daily entries and monthly reviews.
