Here's something to think about. Usually when a new tool comes along, younger artists champion it, while older artists bemoan things changing. This time, it's the opposite – the old guard is into AI while the young largely abhor it. Worth thinking why that might be the case.

I respect the hell out of Todd, but this is absolute bullshit. It's not a tool to make our jobs easier or better. It's a product designed and sold to replace human artists and take away our agency. It's an existential threat to our ability to make a living doing what we love.

I feel like I say this to my writing buddies all the time, but writing comics is a very specific discipline and artform in itself. It's not prose, tv/film or theatre. Comics is its own medium. Yes, anyone can write comics, but few can actually write to the medium well.
