I’ve always been the kind of person who values friendships deeply and gives my best to the people I care about.. Unfortunately..many times I ended up being someone's temporary companion, a source of comfort during their lonely phase, or just someone they talked to until they found better things to do... I don't regret being genuine, but those experiences taught me an important lesson :)) not everyone deserves unlimited access to your time.. energy and emotions. So these days, I'm focusing more on myself, my goals, and my growth. I'm genuinely happy on my own, and I prefer building professional connections rather than getting emotionally invested in friendships too quickly 🥲

I don't avoid DMs because I'm rude. I avoid them because I don't enjoy unnecessary conversations. I'm the kind of person who gets emotionally attached to people I genuinely connect with. When a friend leaves, it affects me more than most people realize. That's why I often choose solitude over the risk of getting attached and then being left behind. I prefer meaningful connections, not conversations that feel temporary, forced, or unprofessional. If I'm giving someone my time... It's because I genuinely value them, not because I'm looking for a way to pass time..!!
