That is clearly a tactic designed to make the user skip the details in the OTP SMS, and just quickly submit the OTP.

Cont'd. I also reported one ad to Meta/ Facebook. But they haven't taken it down. They have said the ad doesn't go against their advertising standards. Meta is being myopic. The ad promises ghee at Rs 10 of you take the survey (questionnaire). After you complete the survey, it asks for your CC details to charge you Rs. 10 (or another amount of you choose a bigger ghee container). This triggers an OTP for transaction. The OTP SMS says the amount that would be debited is Rs. 49,997. (Not Rs. 10). If in a hurry, a user submits the OTP, they'll loose a huge sum of money thinking they are paying just Rs. 10. This is outright fraud. Why is Meta being so silly? I've requested a review, but don't think Meta understands the issue. @AshwiniVaishnaw @nsitharaman @DinaPowellMcC @joel_kaplan
