We love when our students give back! Just before graduating from Midtown High School, a few seniors visited David T. Howard Middle School for a powerful “big sis/little sis” mentorship conversation. Students engaged in conversations about honors coursework at Midtown and shared their experiences with 8th-grade girls about academics, leadership, balance, and future college pathways! The discussion was full of honesty, encouragement, and connection, with students offering real insight and inspiration. Maynard Jackson High School joyfully welcomed Mrs. Valerie Jackson as a special guest for the inaugural Maynard Jackson Week, a celebration honoring the groundbreaking legacy of Atlanta’s first African American mayor.
