Students often don't realize that after they graduate, the game eventually becomes 100% about what they've *actually done* and 0% about what they have the "potential" to do -- and this transition happens faster than they expect. This can be a hard truth for students who get used to hearing "you're going to do great things" and then never take action. But it's a welcome truth for those who are willing to put in serious work to get serious results.

@prajdabre @YuvrajS9886 Run inference in the teacher model and store the top-k logits and the indices. Convert the teacher logits into the students logits space by converting ids to token (teacher) and back to ids (student). Now store this dataset and train on it.
