@ceeoreo_ I'd recommend Developer Roadmaps. Thought it was very useful in directing my learning path. Gives you an order to what you should learn. You can also choose Frontend/Backend/DevOps/etc 😊 roadmap.sh

Part of the “our company is family” is precisely to lure you into spending more time at work than home. Also, reducing the meaning of family to “people I care about” is bizarrely reductive, and again, a straight path to exploitation. All of the nopes.

I read a lot of shit about “your work team is not your ‘family.’l Utter bullshit. It is a group of people you care deeply about (or you shouldn’t be in any form of leadership position EVER) and spend more time with than your “real” family.

It's a phrase that I've heard a lot. I used to be pleased about it since the jump from #javascript to #ruby was pretty tough, but now I'm not sure. @rails massively shortens the amount of manually written code necessary to get a full app running!

[D-18] Progress on Javascript Uno: Wrote functions to generate the deck of 108 card objects, give out 7 cards each, render the decks using DOM, and check for a valid move. My biggest problem now is the color picker for wildcards--as you can see it's still buggy! 😖 #100DaysOfCode

Also I want to pace it with transitions/animations when playing a card, or when waiting for an opponent's move! I have ZERO idea how to do that though, so I'm going to prioritise a fully working game first exploring animations! Goal is to get it fully working by tomorrow 💪

Functions to write: 1) Color Picker for wildcards, 2) Draw card from pile 3) Alternate turns. 4) Check computer deck for valid moves, if not, draw card from pile. 5) Check winning conditions. 6) Regenerate deck if card pile is empty & no winner.
