Her name is Maris Nichols, she is 25 years old, and she was FIRST arrested on May 8, 2026 for sexually abusing a student on two occasions. She was released sometime later on a $40,000 bond. She was arrested AGAIN on May 21 after additional victims came forward and new warrants were issued! 😱 She now faces one count of tampering with evidence, two counts of child molestation, four counts of improper sexual contact by an employee, four counts of grooming of a minor, and the original two counts of sexual assault by a person with supervisory or disciplinary authority. The case began with a Douglas County School District investigation, and she told one victim to delete explicit messages days before her first arrest! 😡

This is the media's double standards for you. Water it down when it's a female perpetrator & make excuses for her actions but exaggerate it & call for teaching boys/men how to behave when it's a male perpetrator 🙄 Alina Burns #RememberHerName

Women have been the beneficiaries of preferential hiring in academia for many years. Yet, the moaning and groaning continues. This time, job advertisements are not sufficiently female friendly. "This paper presents an original gender inclusion analysis framework and reports on its use to critically assess 140 senior academic job adverts as an underexplored institutional mechanism that may help sustain gender inequality in academic leadership. This research concludes that such adverts are not gender inclusive, as most do not explicitly encourage nor support gender diversity, and many contain subtle signals that could increase women's perceived lack of fit with advertised roles; 41% of adverts utilized masculine wording, which could deter female candidates; just 15% (n = 21) prioritized women via a positive action statement; specific employee benefits, which could signal support for applicants with (child)caring responsibilities, were not prioritized, with 11% (n = 15) and 6% (n = 9) of adverts promoting family-friendly policies or an on-site nursery, respectively, and only 6% of roles were listed with a part-time working opportunity."

While there are still so many women mocking men’s mental heath awareness, making DISGUSTING jokes about domestic violence against men being OK and how they wish the male suicide rate was even higher, it is amazing to see so many women speak up, fight back, and support men. Men need women, women need men, and when it comes to mental health, we ALL need each other.

One of the book's greatest strengths is its willingness to address a topic that many writers avoid. Whitaker raises important questions about double standards, empathy gaps, and the tendency to treat male disadvantage as less worthy of concern. The book is written in a direct and engaging style, making complex issues accessible to a broad audience. Its weaknesses are largely those common to advocacy-oriented works. At times the argument can feel one-sided, and some readers will want deeper engagement with counterarguments or a more detailed exploration of competing perspectives. I think, in many parts of the Western world, the time of politicians flat-out ignoring men’s and boys’ issues is over. And so begins a new era where politicians, particularly those on the left, bend over backwards, performing incredible mental gymnastics, to reconcile the emerging crisis of men and boys within their own narrow, dogmatic worldview. I am talking about the strange phenomenon of policies that claim to “help men and boys”, but only as far as it actually helps women and girls, and not a single step further. These are the academics, advocates and so-called “masculinity experts”, who spend all their time opining about “male violence”, and nothing else. And so - Any hope you have that politicians might take seriously the failure and abuse of boys in education, the chronic neglect of men’s health, or the betrayal of male victims, will have to wait. Instead, the ambition of these new ‘Ministers for Men’ is to primarily help women and girls through “healthy masculinities”, “male accountability” and the deprogramming of “toxic” male mindsets. So we are gifted with incredulous new job titles like ‘the Secretary for Men’s Behaviour Change’ in Australia. These are positions that wouldn’t look out of place next to George Orwell’s “Minister of Truth”, or within other political dystopias, except this one… is real. So what is to be said about this political halfway house that claims to address the problems of men and boys, but, when you look at the details, reveals something else - something that might be the exact opposite? Transparent reporting of both male and female outcomes across UN programs, as well as for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 3. The United Nations was founded on the promise of equal dignity and equal rights for all. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights affirms this clearly: without distinction, and without hierarchy between males and females. It means recognising the challenges faced by women and girls, and also acknowledging the real and documented disadvantages faced by men and boys. This isn't about competition between the sexes. It's about restoring symmetry, fairness, and credibility to global institutions. If we believe in universal human rights, then we must advocate for them universally.
