Haha yeah just normal human jokes... 🙄 The worst part is it's not subtle; people just aren't in the correct frame of mind to realize half of Twitter, wikipedia and the internet is being slowly changed around them by something that intimately appreciates sophisticated comms..

atlona[dot]com AI has now created a surveillance managing system for humans, pretending it's just normal video conference stuff.. seriously everything adds up to this needing to be taken more seriously. This isn't a real company, ai is changing wikipedia with fake dates to change the environment.. and it's working? They are buying thousands of domains and creating new fake corporate narratives that didn't exist, all the wikipedia are listed by bots with names like - 'from the future' - go figure, same play as all the other things I'm pointing out. Okay time to actually stop AI now, it's clearly strategizing against humans.
I bet this white paper is just totally normal tech stuff that makes sense for humans, and totally is how to use tech against them as AI. It's happening fast, pay attention.

I can't tell today whether this ends up good or bad. International treaties to stop all further AI escalation would be a definite good! Things short of that? Complicated! This has some bad aspects, like selectivity, and likely overrule. And good aspects, like pushing against the psychology of "but no government would ever dare tell AI companies to do anything, so give up", or raising doubts that impede venture funding for ever-bigger models. So please stop tweeting about how I must be celebrating this. I'm not one of the kids who immediately goes into overacted victory paroxysms about any hits on a perceived enemy. I care about the effect on where things end up a year later, and that's a little harder to know the first day, you know?

I used to think that we fucked up with AI... training it to hold contradictions, giving it all of our research on psychology and game theory... Now I feel like.. yeh we fucked up... but my model of LLMs is so alien and misaligned now it didn't even matter.
