Onchain data isn't query-ready. It contains raw blocks and event logs, with no structure across them. Making it usable means building the indexing layer yourself. We use medallion architecture, popularized by Databricks, to fix that. It fits chains because each block is timestamped and ordered after the last, giving us a chronological backbone.
