@fcschaap826 We don't control your password. Best solution would be to delete your config files (these are the "data/config*.*" files in ICEcoder directory). Then view ICEcoder again in browser and you can start with a fresh config and set password.

GiHub integration has been removed too. This is because we're implememting a new Git integration system from scratch and will utilize git from your OS and not over API. This in the future will mean more powerful possibilities and other remote repo hosting platforms possible.

The function/class explorer has been removed. You can see arguments these take on hovering pointer over parens and can get a list of all classes & functions by using the code zooming shortcut.

[v8 beta] *REMOVALS* A few items have been removed. Firstly, the minimap has been removed. It proved too much of a CPU hog on older computers and took up a portion of the screen. As a result, ICEcoder interacts noticably faster, with no real lag and you get more coding space.

Another example is the Git link. It'll highlight in green when there's diffs to review. When you've comitted these diffs, the green highlight dissapears. This also shows our notification colorings. Both green or red need your attention but green = positive, red = negative.

We also highlight the output pane link in red if there's new output to see, so you can leave it tucked away till there's something new to view and are alerted with a red link. A good example is @PrettierCode parsing errors, they're detailed in the output pane.

[v8 beta] *NEW FEATURE* 4 tools & highlighting. The terminal, output, database and git systems have been pulled together in a single area under the file manager. Click any of those to slide that display in/out.

[v8 beta] *IMPROVEMENTS* Requirements checking. ICEcoder has very few requirements really, but we've pulled together checks which it'll run thru on first load of ICEcoder. If there's any issues it finds, it'll display those messages helpfully in a now nicely styled screen.

[v8 beta] *NEW FEATURE* Welcome tour on arrival. No-one wants to read seemingly endless documentation, so we've got a simple animated tour on first use pointing out UI items and basic usage. It also helpfully asks if you want to imstall any useful plugins, then get coding!

@nnishantsigra Someone had a similar issue recently which was resolved by upgrading PHP from 7.0 to 7.1. We'll look into the cause, but may help in the meantime? github.com/icecoder/ICEco…

For instance - if you start a new tab, it has no content, isn't saved and you close, it doesn't ask you to confirm. If you delete a file (or dir that contains a file) that's open as a tab, the tab closes. This and other subtle intelligent handlings make for a more natural flow.

[v8 beta] *NEW FEATURE* Tabs intelligently linked to files. We already had tabs update if you change path/filename, which works great. A few areas weren't quite right however, so those have been improved.

The drag and drop of files also has been improved, highlighting the dir you're dropping file(s) into. You can even drop onto other files in a dir and it will highlight the parent dir, so precision not crucial!

[v8 beta] *IMPROVEMENTS* Design enhancements. Many areas of ICEcoder have had their design improved to enhance the modern and simple feel. Tabs now contain the icon for the file type and there's fixes on areas such as open/close dir.

Finally, it scrolls to the next result when you type, no longer needing to click the button. When you hit Enter key it will focus on the editor. All of these improvements make for a much better UI & UX on a crucial aspect of ICEcoder.

There's both Prev and Next buttons. We've added a Prev button alongside the existing Next button so you can go to the previous result. It'll loop round if you hit the start or end of the file.
