@davehx@Voultar@MrBlank@retrotink2 I dislike this model for several reasons, one of which is long-time support.
If I bought a device that is capable of more, but am soft-locked - who is to guarantee that the entity that holds the key will continue to exist if I wanted to upgrade down the line?
@Voultar All the videos and posts and tweets about the "Wii-U iS a TiMe BoMB" were getting really annoying - if this pans out across a couple of systems it's going to be so satisfying!
@Voultar Long videos are great - though could you put chapters as well?
They're great for quick reference or reminding oneself of a certain part of the install, especially if in the middle of performing one.
@toms3dp I live on a floor that's on the same level as the church bell, about a 100m from it.
Not sure if they play music/choir songs as well on holidays over there, but I can safely say: stay away.
Not even just Youtube, many people are just WFH now, it's horrible for meetings
@GiovanniLondero@samuelmpinho My point is that people read this and they think it's best practice.
I've seen people use 'on'/'off' or 'set'/'unset' for this purpose which is simply unnecessary and oftentimes confusing. If you need a boolean state, just use a boolean value.
@GiovanniLondero@samuelmpinho I disagree, that's only if you have a designated light mode/theme that's different from system. For theme checking we'd likely use a provider either way, but I was trying to say that there are many cases where you'd only ever need two states
@kentcdodds If this fits, try using a Node version past 13.5 as I believe that's when this got fixed. Might as well try latest LTS if not already using that
@YayRomina @sarah_edo@Netlify This is an issue that likely had no place in this thread in the first place, so I'll just urge you to consider that in distributed teams especially with WFH, not all people reside in the same country. Even if they did, work visas are a thing.
@benheck Anyone that is an immediate hazard to public places should be denied entry (visibly sick, no facemask, loitering). The rest should be common sense and business as usual
@benheck That makes no sense. There should be limits proportional to space/sqft.
100 in Walmart should be treated the same as 5 in mom and pop's if there's no crowding. Both should be disinfecting everyone on entrance, and have protection on the till.
@benheck Here they made some things mandatory like having "bouncers" if you want to keep open: only certain amount of people in, masks mandatory. I thought you were banning per industry branch, not some weird favoritism. Is one small grocer allowed to work but another of equal size isn't?
@benheck That's good. We've seen a couple of spikes so far but nothing serious. By reading comments more, I think I've misunderstood how businesses were allowed to operate in the States. i.e. small grocery shops were closed yet big chains allowed to work?
