@CoefficientData I suspect you mean @pre_commit :) looks like it's not hooked up to pre-commit.ci (though it should just work without any special changes). odd that the cookiecutter defaults to `exclude`ing every file in the repo though

@sbarnea @codewithanthony it tries to follow the precedents set by dependabot for that aspect -- that it's not necessarily safe to blindly update and merge (even if all tests pass). that said it's pretty easy to hook up other bots/actions which opt into that flow!

this appears to have passed -- I'm seeing successful runs on the affected repos and the stuck runs have been re-triggered will continue to follow up with github though
