If you're selling a house and no one is willing to pay your asking price, is that because every single buyer is evil or because you're selling something at a price that no one is prepared to pay? Labour is the same. If no one is willing to pay your asking rate, you're not worth it. You can shout as much as you want about that being unfair, or evil, but it's just a statement of fact.

@Thesecretinves2 It's just about the Total Addressable Market. The TAM of the self-custody crowd is tiny. The TAM of the credit markets is huge. Financial engineering is just a way to punch a hole into the reservoir of each pool of capital to allow it to flow into Bitcoin.
