DULT could do well with a full time Commissioner. Remember DULT Commissioner is also the BMLTA CEO. Incidentally a "conflict of interest" is created as BMLTA CEO and BDA Commisioner is the same person! Eg: BDA is promoting short tunnel+elevated road that needs BMLTA approval.

More intriguing Phase 3 land cost insights when the Hosahalli section is also included. - Metro land 16cr/acre - Double-decker land 64cr/acre Disparity more in Hosahalli section partly because depot site is cheaper. BMRCL must explain reasons for "costly" double decker land.

BMRCL's cost estimates for Ph 3 doesn't makes sense, Bengaluru. As per its DPR's - Metro component requires 58.5 acres of land at 31.40 crs/acre. - Double-decker component alone requires 47.57 acres at 81.45 crs/acre! On the same corridor why cost/acre doubled? Perplexing.
Bidadi needs a different AI. Agricultural Intelligence. What's that? Instead of masking real estate projects as AI City (whatever that is) Bidadi farmlands could host weather sensors, cameras etc to gather 24/7 data & train AI model for Agri. @PriyankKharge - Pls consider.

BDA plans for Hebbal Road short tunnel+elevated corridor has 2 consequences: 1) Shifts congestion to Veterinary College as 80m merging length is insufficient for 7/8 lanes to weave & merge into 6 lanes. 2) Bellary Road realignment clashes with Ph3a Veterinary station area.

You must know this Bengaluru. The estimated cost of Ph3 metro per km is 350 crores. State Govt then insisted on having the unscientific double decker road throughout Ph3. Cost per km of JUST the double-decker road component is 261 crores How much more foolish can it get?
How long will BMRCL get away with lies? It claims that Veterinary College station "dropped" due to low demand. Fact is DPR shows Veterinary College as one of the top Ph3a station! REAL reason is alignment infringements with short tunnel/ elevated corridor. @Secretary_MoHUA
