On Friday 04 July, we enjoyed the annual Sonning Village Rounders match. Well done to all who took part (or who came and supported the event), which was another success for the local community. #SchoolValueLOVE #BuildingStrongFoundationsForTheYearsAhead #community
Year 2 were excellent geographers on our fieldtrip around our local area! We spotted human and physical features of Sonning and used our knowledge of symbols and maps to follow a route. #YoungGeographers #SchoolValueCuriosity

This weekend, there is a Sonning residents' community catch up, where local residents can meet our local MP, Yuan Yang. This will be held at Sonning Primary School from 13:00 - 15:00 on Saturday 07 June.
Our Year 2 geographers spent a busy afternoon completing a jigsaw of the countries in the United Kingdom. We then used excellent map skills to name these countries and locate their capital cities. #YoungGeographers #SchoolValueCuriosity

Children from Fir, Holly and Maple Class, visited Sonning Gardens this week and took part in an exciting Easter egg hunt! After this, they spent time speaking to the residents and even sang happy birthday to one resident who was celebrating her 90th birthday! #CommunityLinks

Fir class worked incredibly hard to construct amazing playgrounds! They used saws to cut dowel and lolly sticks, then they used glue guns to attach everything together. What a fantastic day! #SchoolValueAspiration
