@Rp_Dub @STARBURST_MAG On the “Indy doesn’t effect the outcome of Raiders” thing. Indy’s journey is to make amends to Marion. To finally put his love for her before his passion for archeology, ultimately saving her life. Leaving the Ark in the hands of “fools” but going for that drink. A classic.

@Rp_Dub @STARBURST_MAG Here’s the thing. Indy rarely wins a fight outright in Raiders. He is saved by an external force time and time again. Marion, Sallah, rotor blades… until eventually Old Testament God steps in. Very clever foreshadowing. Something the other Indy movies lack.
