Something I’ve noticed over time: As people rise in social status, they start filtering who they respond to, how quickly they respond, and how open they are, largely based on the other person’s status. And that bar keeps moving. The people who made the cut six months ago

Intelligence is Pareto distributed. Intelligent people don't want to unnecessarily associate with low IQ idiots. It's a waste of their time and energy. Isolation is often a better choice for them

This 'Inreplaceability' is his 'Anchor' in a 'Volatile World.' Power is the ability to 'Define the Price' of your own 'Participation.' Don't be 'Good' at everything; be 'Dangerous' at 'One Thing.' Sovereignty is the possession of a 'Unique Leverage.'
Strategic 'Parsimony' is about the 'Brutal Conservation' of your 'Resources'—time, money, energy, and emotion. Most people are 'Resource-Wasteful'—they 'Spend' their 'Best Hours' on 'Minor Tasks' and their 'Best Emotions' on 'Minor Slights.' They have 'High Friction' in everything they do. The sovereign is a 'Master of the Shortcut.' He is always looking for the 'High-Leverage Move'—the 'One Thing' that makes ten other things unnecessary. He has 'Low Friction' because he has 'Total Focus.' He doesn't 'Argue' when he can 'Ignore.' He doesn't 'Work' when he can 'Systematize.' This 'Efficiency' is his 'Internal Engine' of 'Power.' Sovereignty is the ability to 'Achieve the Maximum' with the 'Minimum.' It is the 'Sophistication' of the 'Clean Line' and the 'Single Strike.' Be the 'Laser,' not the 'Floodlight.'
