Paralysed husband brought to court on a stretcher in maintenance case, as his wife claims he is fit and demands maintenance In a maintenance proceeding under Section 125 CrPC, a man was produced before the court on a stretcher, visibly paralysed and unable to speak, walk, or perform basic bodily functions. He has been bedridden for nearly five years following a brain haemorrhage that left the left side of his body non-functional. According to his family, the marriage lasted barely a month before the wife returned to her parental home and initiated multiple proceedings, including a case under Section 498A IPC and a maintenance petition. Despite the husband’s grave medical condition, the wife allegedly claimed before the court that he was “completely healthy” and deliberately avoiding court appearances. The family stated that they had already submitted medical records, photographs, and hospital documents clearly establishing his condition. However, due to proceedings initiated in the 498A case, where he was declared an absconder and coercive steps under Sections 82 and 83 CrPC were proposed. The police allegedly compelled the family to physically present him in court to secure bail, warning of property attachment if they failed to do so. Left with no option, the family brought him to court on a stretcher so that both the court and the complainant could see his condition first-hand. During the hearing, the court reportedly took note of his medical state after seeing him in person. When documentary medical evidence is already on record, forcing the physical production of a paralysed, non-communicative individual raises uncomfortable questions about proportionality, empathy, and the true purpose of legal process. Maintenance law exists to prevent destitution, not to become a tool of coercion divorced from facts. Criminal procedure exists to ensure justice, not to mechanically push families into inhuman situations.
AI is causing a new dev pattern: I heard this yesterday: I show my stakeholders a demo, we generate 10-12 exciting ideas, and by end of next day, 80% are already in production. Then I let them know: 'It's live — what do you think?" People who fret about AI replacing dev jobs are missing the point. When you can create value 10x or even 100x more quickly, you get more headcount, not less. Another example: I paired with someone two days ago who made a circa-2005 Google Analytics clone in less than 30 minutes. (One JavaScript snippet, sending events to Google Cloud Run, PubSub, and BigQuery.). It will eventually ingest 20MM events/month, way above the 1MM Google Analytics limit. (We wrote the reporting engine in Python Streamlit today.) The longest part of the process? Getting permission to create PubSub subscribers. Not coding. These types of obstacles are what @steve_yegge and I called "barbed wire" in our Vibe Coding book. But I never saw as vividly as how critical it is to have someone from infosec or admin rights on the team — all your wildest dreams are blocked by waiting to get access rights. Another heartbreaking form of barbed wire? People stuck in protracted sprint planning processes, endless backlog grooming meetings about what features should work on next and which need to be pushed into next quarter... The new bottlenecks are organizational, not technical — let's go fix them!
I've decided to start teaching full mathematical series on my YT channel! The first video in the series 'An Introduction to Mathematical Proofs' is now live! I've previously only ever explained mathematical ideas in one video at a time but this has been requested by so many of you! This is something new for me so if you can let me know if you enjoyed the video and show it some love (or hype), that would mean the world 🥹

Introducing the Devstral 2 coding model family. Two sizes, both open source. Also, meet Mistral Vibe, a native CLI, enabling end-to-end automation. 🧵
Our next-generation coding model family Devstral 2 is available in two sizes: Devstral 2 (123B) under a modified MIT license, and Devstral Small (24B) under Apache 2.0. Both SOTA, open-source, free to use, and available now via our API.
this one chart explains EVERYTHING about why OpenAI, xAI and Deepmind dropped everything to go chase after the grand prize in koding usecases as i said at AIE CODE and in my cogpost, Code AGI will be achieved in 20% of the time of full AGI, and capture 80% of the value of AGI. now thanks to @openrouter, we have open numbers that only the labs were seeing prior.

New @GoogleDeepMind paper builds a new benchmark and agent design so language models can actually learn from their own experience. Right now most language model agents only keep chat logs or facts, so they remember what happened but not how to solve similar tasks better, and the authors call this conversational recall versus experience reuse. Evo Memory turns existing benchmarks into streams of tasks arriving 1 after another, and forces agents to search past experiences, use them, then update memory each time. The simple baseline ExpRAG stores each solved task as a short text record, retrieves a few similar ones for a new task, and inserts them into the prompt. ReMem goes further by letting the agent choose at each step to think, act, or refine memory, actively pulling useful experiences and pruning or rewriting unhelpful ones. Across math, question answering, tool use, and interactive environments, these self evolving memories, especially ReMem and even simple ExpRAG, boost accuracy, need fewer steps, and make smaller models behave much stronger without any retraining. ---- Paper Link – arxiv. org/abs/2511.20857 Paper Title: "Evo-Memory: Benchmarking LLM Agent Test-time Learning with Self-Evolving Memory"
I attended an awesome panel talking about The Future of Kafka. Topics covered: • kafka’s original design tradeoffs: “built by experts for experts” and why that bites us now • why the kafka protocol is limiting for ai agents • the split b/w what we mean by "AI" - training, inference, agent state • why ordering-per-partition is the wrong granularity • diskless & the “s3 will eat streaming” thesis • kafka as the "n+1 glue" between too many databases and systems • governance / access control as the real bottlenecks • kafka already won, we now compete on cost & simplicity Check the full video out here: ✅ youtube.com/watch?v=iqj-I4…
#SupremeCourt Centre For Research and Planning suggests these Guidelines for the Responsible Use of AI for Lawyers:
This is purely my observation over the last decade in India. I feel for men in India. Especially, for the men of the current generation. Society still expects them to be in a certain way, to conduct their life in a certain way. But Indian society has loosened it's grip on the way current generation females conduct their lives. This is especially true in the case of job and earnings. If a woman doesn't want to work, it's OK. If she is working, and wants to take a career break, it's OK. If she wants to take a step down in her career or switch careers, it's still OK. If she wants to aim for the stars, and achieve it, leaving behind her family duties, it's still OK. One fine day, if she is fed up and completely wants to become a homemaker forever, it's OK still. The man will chin up and somehow manage the loss of the earnings from the wife. How do I know this??? Because, I see this in my clinic. When couples come to consult me, and it's evident that woman is at stress, the men whole heartedly ask thier wives to take a career break/step down. And quite a few woman have done it too. If she is a homemaker and still doesn't want to take care of home, it's OK. There's always swiggy, zomato or the local restaurant. This continues for months on end. If a career woman/ homemaker is unable to care of the home, they outsource this to someone else, it's still OK. (Home = kids, husband, plus/minus both or one set of parents, and taking care of the myriad household chores) It's ok for the woman of the current generation. Husband and everyone else rallies around her. No one wants to upset her. In so many families, the equation is lopsided, titling more towards the women. ×××××××××××××××××××× Then what about men?? Society still expects them to earn and take care of their families atleast financially. What if they are fed up, stressed with their current job and and want to take a lesser paying job?? What if they want to take a career break and explore thier hobbies? What if they want to completely stop working for a while and want to rejuvenate themselves??? What if they want to change careers later on in life, and go with their passion. Aren't they human too?? But then who will look after the home?? Will the wife now step in and take the whole burden of the home, of the financial side of things?? I think, the answer is a NO. How do I know this again?? I know it because, males comes and tell me their problems and they don't see any way out majority have resigned to the fact that they will have to earn until they are 60 years old. Our parents generation, pendulum was tilted morw towards the males. In my generation, by and large bothbmales and females had some sort of equality. I have seen my age contemporaries, borh men and women step, and take the load. But the current generation....i feel the pendulum has swung the other way. The roles have reversed from my parents generation to the current generation.
@myprasanna Glad that you got the results through court intervention. There are lot of middle class men who are oppressed by the police and didn’t get timely legal help
The madras high court has ordered the cops not to harass me. livelaw.in/amp/high-court…
To all men out there, think 10,000 times before you choose someone your life partner. Stay the fuck away from pseudo fake feminists. For them, you are meant to provide and pay for alimony. Imagine doing everything right in life, academics, building rippling, becoming a billionaire, and all you get is this when all YOU wanted was peace and happiness.
My name is Prasanna, who previously founded Rippling (worth $10B); I'm going through a divorce. I'm now on the run from the Chennai police hiding outside of Tamil Nadu. This is my story.
