We asked @blauyourmind, Founder of @trydrip and ex-a16z, whether he'd actually let an AI agent trade on his behalf after using Drip to do financial research. His answer: "I'm going to give you a real concrete story that happened in the past 48 hours." "I did all this analysis. I'm ready to make the trade. Why can't I just let it make the trade?" "I prompted my Codex. I said, hook into the Interactive Brokers API to place a trade... It wrote a quick example in like 30 seconds and I'm like, do it. Okay, place a trade. And it did." "I can just see, magically, the little order pop up in my Interactive Brokers terminal. And this is freaking awesome."

If agents are going to be the ones reading the web, they need a way to access the parts of the web that cost money: paywalled blogs and premium newsletters. @trydrip lets agents access that content directly, while making sure writers get paid.

Really appreciate @itsurboyevan trying @trydrip early and writing honestly about it.
