☢️Reflexão da Cooperativa: shame on you RTP🤡 A RTP conseguiu fazer da economia portuguesa uma espécie de aula de matemática dada com régua partida. O Banco de Portugal fala da aproximação do salário mínimo ao salário mediano; a RTP das Marrafas acha que é igual ao salário médio. Até parece coisa para simplificar a inguagem, mas não. É a diferença entre perceber o país e vender nevoeiro ao povo escudada no serviço público. É gravíssimo. ➡️➡️Eu explico. O salário médio é uma conta de merceeiro simples, soma-se tudo e divide-se por todos. Sabem aquilo do frango, o socialista come um, tu nenhum, em média o socialista e tu comeram meio frango. O salário mediano é outra coisa, é o trabalhador que está exatamente a meio da fila. Metade ganha mais, metade ganha menos. É com o salário mediano que se percebe a carne viva deste país. E o que o Banco de Portugal está a dizer é simples, o salário mínimo já está perigosamente encostado ao salário do meio. Entenda-se, estamos a construir uma economia onde subir na vida compensa cada vez menos. O trabalhador que estudou mais, nadou na m@rda e chegou à tona, aprendeu a fazer coisas que outros não fazem e produz mais valor olha para baixo e vê o salário mínimo a subir-lhe pela perna acima, tipo inundação de cave. Não é solidariedade camaradas, é infiltração. Os socialistas aparecem de braçadeiras a anunciar justiça social, mas não é. Eu explico. ⚠️Claro que aumentar salários baixos parece sempre bonito. Quem é que é contra alguém ganhar mais? Só um monstro, fãncista, de extrema-direita, cheio de discurso de ódio. Certo? Epá, não. O problema é que a economia não vive das boas intenções do Raimundo e companhia. Vive de produtividade, mérito, escala, investimento, responsabilidade e diferenciação. Quando o salário mínimo sobe por decreto acima da capacidade real da economia, não nasce riqueza. Nasce compressão. O chão sobe, mas o teto não acompanha. Resultado: o quarto fica mais baixo para todos. Dentro de uma empresa, isto é veneno de efeito retardado, mas fatal, sem antídoto. O tipo que faz o mínimo obrigatório vê o seu salário subir porque o Estado mandou. O que trabalha melhor, resolve problemas, vende, segura clientes, e carrega a casa às costas fica a ver a diferença a encolher. O que o patrão tem de pagar a mais aos medíocres por lei, é o que sobre de menos para premiar os melhores. É a lógica socialista no seu melhor, portanto, entenda-se no seu pior. Não criar mais degraus para as pessoas subirem, mas serrar os degraus que ainda existem para ninguém parecer estar demasiado alto. Chama-se redução da desigualdade; na prática, muitas vezes, é uma mera redução da ambição. O socialismo adora uma boa sociedade plana. ➡️➡️Não por justiça, mas porque a planície é mais fácil de governar. Pessoas sem grande diferença entre esforço e recompensa tornam-se dependentes da próxima decisão política, do próximo aumento administrativo, da próxima esmola com carimbo de progresso.⬅️⬅️ Isto lembra-me muito aquele velho exemplo da turma em que se decide dar a todos a nota do melhor aluno. No primeiro dia, os piores celebram, os medianos respiram de alívio e o melhor aluno ainda acredita que aquilo é só uma experiência pedagógica parva. Na segunda ronda, o melhor aluno estuda menos. Na terceira, os medianos percebem que também não vale a pena. Na quarta, já ninguém quer saber. A média da turma não sobe; desce a exigência. O professor fica muito satisfeito porque acabou com a desigualdade nas notas. Mas também acabou com o incentivo para aprender. Nos salários é igual. Se o trabalhador menos produtivo é empurrado para perto do trabalhador mediano por decreto, passa a haver uma distorção. Ou sobem os preços, ou esmagam margens, ou congelam carreiras, ou contratam menos, ou deixam de diferenciar quem merece. O mérito passa a ser redistribuído, não pela criação de valor, mas pela compressão administrativa da tabela salarial. ⚠️Camaradas, durante anos vendeu-se a fantasia de que bastava aumentar o mínimo para enriquecer o país. É o truque do ilusionista pobre, o salário mínimo sobe, a mediana fica logo ali pertinho, a classe média leva com mais uma pazada de cal em cima e o regime proclama vitória porque reduziu a distância entre pobres e remediados. Também podemos achar que é melhor assim porque somos todos medíocres e não merecemos mais, mas prefiro não acreditar nesta teoria. Para vossa eventual reflexão. o dono da cooperativa

Google is making $62 billion a quarter destroying the websites it NEEDS to survive. This is literally a death spiral that ends with Google killing itself. Let me explain what's going on... Google added AI summaries to the top of every search result in 2024. When you Google something now, the answer sits right there on Google's page. You never have to click anywhere. Google took the information from someone else's website, summarized it, and kept you inside Google's ecosystem. The result: 60% of all Google searches now end without a single click to any website. Small publishers lost 60% of their traffic in one year. Medium publishers lost 47%. Even the biggest names in media, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Business Insider, all saw traffic fall between 22% and 55%. The Axios CEO called it "a referral extinction event for the ad-supported web." Google's response to all of this was to tell publishers they can "opt out" of having their content summarized. But opting out also REMOVES your description from normal search results. So the choice Google gives you is let us steal your content for free, or become invisible on the internet. That's extortion. The Washington Post laid off another round of journalists this year because of it. Stereogum, one of the most respected music publications on the internet, had to BEG readers for donations. Business Insider cut 21% of its staff. Dozens of smaller publishers have shut down entirely. The people who actually CREATE the information Google summarizes are going bankrupt while Google posts record revenue. But here's where this gets interesting and where everyone stops thinking: Google's AI summaries are only as good as the content they summarize. If the publishers who write the original articles, run the original investigations, and create the original data go out of business, there is nothing left for Google to summarize. The AI starts recycling old information, the answers get stale, the quality drops, and users start noticing that Google's summaries are increasingly wrong, outdated, or useless. Google is essentially strip-mining the internet for short-term revenue. They are extracting all the value from content creators without paying for it, driving those creators out of business, and then wondering why the quality of their own product is declining. This is exactly what Napster did to the music industry in the early 2000s: Made content free, creators went broke, and quality collapsed. It took a decade to rebuild. Google is doing the same thing to the entire internet at 100x the scale. Rolling Stone, Variety, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, and Billboard are now suing Google for antitrust violations. Chegg, the education platform, lost 49% of its traffic and is suing too. The UK's competition authority just ordered Google to let publishers opt out without being punished. The DOJ already ruled Google is an illegal monopoly. And Google's defense in court is genuinely unbelievable. They argue that publishers CHOOSE to let Google index their content and can leave anytime they want. That's like saying you choose to pay protection money to the mob because technically you could close your business and move to another city. Google controls 90% of search. Leaving Google means leaving the internet. Meanwhile Google is investing billions in custom AI chips to make these summaries cheaper at scale. Every quarter the problem gets worse. The internet as we've known it for 25 years ran on a simple deal: Publishers make content. Google sends traffic. Advertisers pay for the traffic. Everyone wins. But Google just BROKE that deal and kept all the money.
