My game booth opened today! Watching people play my game in person was genuinely fun. But I also got some hard feedback. "Controls feel uncomfortable" Multiple players said the same thing. Felt bad that I couldn't fix it right away. Can't sleep before fixing it. #gamedev

Not sure if every part time gamedev feels this way, but I feel trapped in my full time job. I know I need it until I can make a living with gamedev but there's no passion at all. Just drained, and keep asking myself why I'm still here.

6/ After all the feedback, one thing stood out the most. "The game has a lot going on, but it all feels disconnected." I kind of felt this while building the demo. The feedback just confirmed it. I need to rethink the core mechanic. Fix the critical bugs. Redesign around what this game is really about. That's the question I'm taking home from PlayX4.

5/ Don't beg for wishlists. And don't offer rewards for them either. The number goes up, but it tells you nothing real. Instead, I gave out a Google Form with the Steam page at the bottom. People who genuinely liked the game added it on their own. 50+ wishlists from 200 players, without asking once. That number actually meant something to me.

2분기에 출시하는 최대 4인 협동 무대제작 게임인데 소재가 특이해서 눈길감 .. 사진만 보고 무대 막이 오르기 전에 소품 배치해야 된다는데 물리엔진 개판나서 휘두르면 다뿌서지고 접착력 개약하고 파워 나가고 난리남 존나웃기게

Escape Protocol now has a Steam page! It's a cosmic horror survival roguelite with scenario based missions. Every choice you make changes what comes next kind of like the Arkham Horror card game. If this sounds interesting, a wishlist really helps! #gamedev
