@frisky9 See if your vet can provide emergency claw protectors that go over the claws (they stay on a few months and can be replaced). See about isolating him in a small place at first, like a large kennel cage with hidey box. Also, consider asking the vet about "kitty meds."

@canammissing I have memories that my shocked mother realized were from when I was 9 months old. Some of us do have strong memories from a young age. Perhaps our brains are a bit different or something.

@XposeTrophyHunt Obviously, you have never been nearly trapped or seen a true FIRESTORM up close. Pray you never do. If our house had not been in front of the Oakland Hills firestorm instead of behind it (when we got caught in fleeing traffic), we would have lost our cats!

@BGatesIsaPyscho It ignores those of us who were Not Up to Snuff and sat on the sidelines (I'm a girl, and this happened more often to us) because we would mess up the testing results. I learned to hate exercise and especially anything "team," related.
