@burkehenryt @maustermuhle The original proposal was direct piggyback on the fed NIIT. My understanding: the idea is a married hhld doesn’t have twice the costs of a single hhld. And even tho the NIIT threshold is 200k/250k, the majority of revenue (92%) is still paid by the top 5% in DC.
