Do not make assumptions about things that have never happened. Otherwise, it is simply making trouble out of nothing. No matter what China does, it is always held to be in the wrong. This is the arrogance of racists.
@sambam_at @jietang China is pro open source because it helps them control that industry, it also helps divert earnings from US AI labs and route data to China that would otherwise train US models, it isn’t altruism and they will change the tone when the context changes.
