@wsj I was reading the WSJ this morning and came across an article about the looming civil war in Lebanon. One of the photos in the article has all the hallmarks of AI slop. It is a photo of two Lebanese soldiers overlooking a bombed car. There is too much wrong with this picture to list here, but why would a “FOR RENT” sign on a building in Beirut be in English and not Arabic? And not even bi-lingual? So much is wrong with this image. Is this story even to be trusted at all? Big @wsj fail.

People like Mr Jones, spitting and drooling in in rage turned inward, evidently ignorant of actual history and drunk on meritless self-regard, have twisted their ideal of Christianity into a vile movement - full of hatred and menace and stripped of any moral values. Quite simply, he is wrong but doesn’t care. His neural architecture is permanently distorted and he is too deep in his madness to ever change. If following the Beatitudes is a minimal requirement for calling oneself a Christian, Mr. Jones is a failure.

Wrong again, bro. Words can indeed be violent. If someone says “I want to kill you with my bare hands,” is that not inherently violent? Is some literary character like Dick the Butcher, says, “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers,” is that not an invitation to violence? Now replace lawyers for Israelis, or Uighers, or Irish. Do you think that’s just benign chatter? I get that you want people to see whatever you imagine is the good or peaceful side to islam, but bro, the world “al harb…” If all the peoples of EMEA had wanted to become monotheists, they already had the examples of Judaism and Christianity. Islam spread so widely because its compelling message was the edge of the sword. And do not start defending the Quran by quoting carefully curated Surahs while ignoring the commands to kill the non-believers. That is not a religion of peace, it is a political program to subjugate the world by force.
