"A 13 ans, Chloe a révélé aux services sociaux qu'elle était victime d'abus sexuel de la part de gangs d'hommes musulmans. En réponse, les services sociaux ne sont pas intervenus mais ont parlé à Chloe de la contraception et de la santé sexuelle". Excellente réaction des services sociaux britanniques, qui ont su faire preuve de pragmatisme en évitant de tomber dans le racisme. En apprenant que cette jeune adolescente était violée et prostituée à répétition par des immigrés, ils ont choisi la solution raisonnable et proportionnée : lui recommander la contraception et l'hygiène. Solution avantageuse pour elle, pour ses clients et pour ses employeurs car elle évitait ainsi l'arrêt de travail qu'une grossesse aurait provoqué. Les services sociaux français agissent d'ailleurs de même au sujet des tournantes de blanches dans des caves en banlieue. Il faut rendre hommage à leur engagement antiraciste et à leur pragmatisme face à la tentation de diaboliser et de nous ramener aux pires heures de notre histoire.

Holy shit. The EU Commission gave €2.4 million to a researcher for a project intended to "free science and society from the unfounded dogma of sex categories" and "to challenge the ancient categorization of humans into men and women and the unjust gendered social order this categorization helps maintain." The grant has resulted in just three research papers, all concerning sexual attraction, based on internet surveys and an existing dataset (from what I can tell, there is nothing more). What the hell?? Two and a half million? It's like that UK project that got €750k and produced a couple of internet surveys on "fragile heterosexuality".
