Connecticut's economic recovery from the pandemic has been slower than the national average, according to a recent report. The state's job growth is 3.3 percentage points lower than the national average, leading to 55,560 fewer jobs. ctmirror.org/2024/10/14/ct-…
The FOMC's new Summary of Economic Projections is just about the closest thing to a "Mission Accomplished" banner you can imagine them unfurling. 2% inflation going forward with no slowdown in economic growth and the unemployment rate staying low and falling.

Wage growth: From 2019 to 2023, real wage growth for low-wage workers averaged 11.4%, helping improve their standard of living. Unfortunately, middle-wage workers faced a decline, with real wage growth averaging -0.5%, making it harder to maintain their standard of living.
